My ’96 Buick Regal rear shock is leaking after hitting a bump now it leaks oil can i just replace the shock and what the process of putting the new shock back into the old strut mount.im low on money and handy but cant afford to buy it assembled it has no springs in the rear. or if i just buy the shock and do it myself is it gonna be a nightmare. please someone who knows what there talking about tell me the prosses i work on my own ’96 Buick Regal cars be sides major engine work or tranny work thank you.

I am having electrical problems with my 1995 buick lesabre limited edition. When ever I start up the car, almost immediately the rear window defroster will engage at full fan and I cannot shut it off, turn down the fan, or adjust the temp. of it. The only way to shut it off is to turn the car off and start it back up. What could be the cause of this and how can I fix it?

I have a 96 Buick Riviera that I bought for 600$ that was water damaged. I so far has fixed ever thing in the car except the power seats. The driver seat (the one I sit in) allow me to recline the seat but does not allow me to move it forward, and the passenger seat don’ do either. I was told if I remove the seats I could get a better look at the problem, but I don’t know how to remove the seats.. Please help!!! Thanks Much.

We have a 2005 Buick LaCrosse has intermittent brake problems. On two separate occasions while my wife drove the car, shook it and it was difficult to accelerate. The first time I had driven about 40 miles from home before this step and had to be towed. The mechanic was driving around for a week and could not see kept. He pointed out that the brakes. The second time was a few months later two miles from the house and have it again. I have the car and I felt that all the wheels felt unusually warm. The right front wheel was too hot to keep your hand on him. After a few days we have another mechanic check the brakes and drive could not find anything. Does anyone have any idea what could cause this? They do not trust the car on a trip.

My first car was a ’91 Buick LeSabre. The first time I drove the speakers sounded very good and so is the bass. I always played my music is very high, and eventually it sounded very bad. Now speakers crackle and hiss and the bass is just terrible. Did I blow out, or maybe another problem could be with it? If I want to add new speakers and subwoofer, some of which might be a good choice for a good price (and would be a good idea to have something to be like Best Buy to install it) now? I own an 1988 Buick Regal. And not long ago my key cylider has worn out. How do I remove it and replace it? I do not want to ruin that area and have to use a hot wiring method. It will still start it and run it just no easy way to shut it down because the coils are way down in the front and hard to get too especially when it is running. Maybe there is an easy accesswire to shut it down I could install a switch in. Help me please.

My 2007 Buick LaCrosse, 3.8L had a low whining noise at low speed, much like a noise of low power steering fluid. This noise started about three weeks ago. Since then I have replaced the serpentine belt. The noise got louder and increases with acceleration up to forty miles per hour. As far as I can tell the belt tensioner seems to be OK. The noise is constant. Can anybody help me?
