Right now I owned an 1973 Volkswagen Beetle and I am having a small electrical problems with the interior light.
It’s only works when it is pushed down an exact amount, to the
millimeter. It recently started working fully, but then it stopped a
couple days ago. What should I do?
Answer: This is probably due to poor/worn contacts. Is it the switch on the light or the switch that is fitted to the door (i.e. when you open the door interior light comes on). If it is the switch, best to disassemble it and give it a good cleaning. This will not help much if it worn. The only solution in this case is to replace.
