I think that my Volkswagen Jetta has a problems on transmission. How to check transmission level in 2001 VW Jetta? Thanks.
Answer: The automatic has a dipstick for the transmission fluid
and must be checked with the car running, if it’s a manual then you
have to remove a drain/check plug on the passenger side on the
transmission. There are 2 plugs one on top and one on bottom. The top
one is to check/fill the fluid while the bottom is for draining the
fluid for changing it.
