"1998 Volkswagen Polo Gearbox Oil Change Problems"

1998 Volkswagen Polo

My 1998 Volkswagen Polo need a new gearbox oil change. I found 3 plugs on this the gearbox. What I need to do to drain and re-fill it again?

Answer: Gearbox? On the manual transmission? I “never” changed the oil in a manual and have 300Kmiles without a whimper. No problem there. The gears rotate, that’s all they do. VW said it was not a problem if you had a leak and then just make sure that you always fell short. One is in the background of the flight numbers, right? What is the lowest. It should be on the side half way up, another Allen (which at first sight) or a possible square plug, if not all there. It is filled from the side until the oil fill in the hole. They use the gear oil 90W when manual. (The older) may now have an easier way, I can not say. But it is not transmission fluid, motor oil. Do not use the right material. If there is an automatic transmission…. The lower plug is the drain plug. The burden has reduced the oil dipstick tube . Transmission using a funnel. And check to see the test strip, where you’re at the right level.
