The cigarette lighter in the
2006 Ford Focus I just bought doesn’t work. It doesn’t work as a lighter
(the knob won’t stay pushed in) and nothing that I plug into it (my GPS
and tunecast) will work. I need to go out
of town unexpectedly, and the limited warranty from buying the car is
only good in my town, but because it’s the 4th of July, they are closed
today. I’m wondering how much it will cost to fix it if I just get it
done somewhere else and pay for it.
Answer: I’m afraid your fuse is blown, go to Auto Zone or a full service gas station and they should replace it for free. And please drive safe
