Can someone show me how to install a window regulator in a 2000 Chevrolet Impala driver’s door?
Answer: Remove the door pad, first find the screws, usually in the arm rest or behind the door handle.
Now use a tool to pop the door pad off, the tool is called a pop corn
puller. Unhook the wires, set the door pad aside. Remove the dust shield
from the door. Unplug the window regulator and unbolt it, this may be
tough if it doesn’t work because certain bolt are going to be out of
site. Once unbolted from door and window, wiggle it out. Now insert new
regulator, and install all bolts and nuts. Lower glass in to regulator
and secure. Reinstall everything in opposite order.
