I just had my 2004 BMW 320d serviced.
and need to know how to reset the 10,000 miles service counter. The
manual tells me to take it to my BMW dealer. Thanks.
Answer: The dealership has to do it with some machine they have. Some models will notify the dealership when the counter hits and the dealership will call you to set up an appointment. Kind of creepy. Mine doesn’t do that, but the dealership has to reset it (or an authorized BMW mechanic can also reset it, I think)
