"Peugeot 206: Radiator Fan Switch Location"

Silver Peugeot 206 Front Right View

The fan isn’t coming on on my Peugeot 206, where is the fan switch, and the relays that it uses? The radiator doesn’t have a fan temp switch on, so does the car even have one? If so where is it as I can’t find it! There are a couple of sensors where the water hose goes into the block so does it just use these. Also are the fan relays in the fuse box under the bonnet?

Answer: Ok. First: the radiator does have a fan temp relay. Second: The fan relays are not in the fuse box under the bonnet. The Peugeot 206 model tend to suffer from a bad fan relay or ‘fan resistance relay’ (Peugeot part No. 1267 E3). Please check for it since it’s a resistance (metal coiled) it’s very common to fail. If its good try for the 35 amp green relays (part No. 6547 TX). You can find both in front of the car, behind the front bumper and on the LEFT Side of the fan. The resistance relay have a torx 25 bolt and a plug. Remove the plug, then the torx bolt. Place a new resistance relay and your fan will work as it should.
