"2004 Dodge Durango Key Fob Stopped Working"

Last night my 2004 Dodge Durango key fob stopped working (won’t unlock/lock doors). I replaced the battery, but it still won’t work. I read online where sometimes the battery bracket falls off, but this is not the case with mine, it is still in place. Any ideas of what might be wrong and how I can fix it without buying a new key?

Answer: Try taking the battery out and reinstall it again, very often those wont make contact the first time you install them and that will be the cause of it not working and you don’t have to have anything re-programed to get it to work not to replace the battery, also make sure the battery you bought is good. It’s very often the battery you buy are old and wont work right, good luck.
