2010 Honda Odyssey Rear View |
How do you install Honda Odyssey front brake pads?
Answer: Jack the truck up then put stands on it and remove the tires.
1. then you should look behind the caliper and remove 2 bolts that hold it in place, one is on top and one on the bottom but both behind it
2. just take the old ones out and before putting the new ones on take an old pad and some vice grips or applying pressure with a clamp, screwdriver, etc. push the piston back as far as you can.
3. without touching the new ones on the stopping surface place them on the same way the same way the old ones were placed, if u touched them then just apply brake cleaner solution to it
4. then just slide the whole assembled caliper back on the disk and screw it back on
5. put your tires back on and recheck them so they don’t fall off while driving and pump your brakes untill you feel the pedal stiffen up then go drive it to test them
