Recently I own an 1996 Land Rover Range Rover
4.0 HSE. And now th car keeps over heating, so I need to remove the
thermostat to prevent that. Can anyone help me where can I find the
thermostat?

Answer: Hi, overheating
is not the thermostat it is more likely the the radiator pressure cap
needs replacing. as they wear out over time the spring is to keep the
pressure up and it weakens with age.
The other reason why a car over heats is generally more serious like the head gasket needs replacing or the radiator has a hole in it which again reduces the pressure in the system so check the hose clips and hoses along with the radiator cap, and radiator. Removal of thermostat will have no effect except give you less Miles per gallon as it will take longer to warm up the engine.
