My 1990 Nissan Pathfinder driver’s door power window broke at the part where the metal bracket that holds the window and the wire that moves the window up and down. Is it possible to change the powered regulator to a manual regulator? To replace it with a manual regulator is a lot cheaper than with a powered regulator.
Answer: Generally no, you can’t. None of the brackets will be present that the manual regulator would need to bolt to. It will be FAR cheaper to have the bracket rewelded, or even replace the door with one from a wrecking yard and move YOUR parts into the new door.
