| 2000 Ford Focus GPS and Cigarette Charger Cable |
I inserted my GPS in the cigarette lighter but I do not know if it
was charging, how would I know if it is working? My car is 2000 Ford Focus.
Answer: It is easy to know, when you unplug it does
the GPS ask to continue on recharging the battery? If not, then the
cigarette lighter is not working good. This works because the GPS can be
put on a ‘SWITCHED’ power source, meaning when there is no power it automatically shuts off and automatically turns on when power is present.
