Black 2008 Dodge Viper Venom |
Are 2008 Dodge Vipers getting
Smaller? Comparing the 2005-06 SRT10 to 2008. They changed something
body wise and I cant figure it out but I’m sure its the length of the
car.
Answer: In actually its not the length of the car
getting smaller but longer. The newer models are longer to give
customers the much needed extra trunk space. The most noticebale feature
of the new models though is the width. As you can see Dodge gave it a
wider wheelbase to increase stability and performance. Something needed
to help the driver handle the
amazing 600 horsepower and 560 lbs of torque that the revised 8.4L V10
now dishes out. With a larger wheelbase it gives more room for the
engine and allows for the hood to go from being a flat smooth bubble to a
more aerodynamic depression. All in all its still one bad@ss vehicle
and a real thrill to drive : )
