Is it easier to change a fuel tank complete with pump than just changing a fuel pump on a 1993 Buick Century?

Answer: It’s a wash, because you have to take the tank out to put in the pump anyway. You should probably just get the pump and put it in so you don’t have to buy a tank too. Save some money. Unless the tank is rusted through, but if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.
