How can I put on a rear bumper on my 1997 Honda Civic? What tools do I need? Would you recommend a mechanic (How much can you expect for a mechanic to charge for this?) to do it or is it something easy to do and you can do yourself. By the way, I’m talking about the rear 1997 Honda Civic bumper cover. Sorry a lot of questions but my bumper got messed up and I want to fix it asap. Thanks!

Answer: The bumper is very easy to replace all you will need is a 10mm and a 12mm socket and wrench open you trunk and pull back the carpet on both sides on the back side of the trunk you will see the bolts. After that look under the rear of your car and you will see 5 or 6 plastic screws. I thing for that you will need a flat head screw driver but the always stick so you should have a pair of vise grips to hold the topside of them that’s about all.
