1999 Buick Lesabre ABS electrical problem?
Some times I hit the brakes a little be an the radio an gauges go out
an the come back on an the ABS light is on an the goes off real quick. Does anyone have an idea of what this is?
Answer: I believe you are having a body ground problem, check your ground straps from engine to body. These can be bought at most auto parts stores where ever battery cables
are sold. Such as at an O-Reilly’s/Murray’s they are packaged as
interwoven flat 1/2 inch wide or so 6 or more inches long bare ground
straps with closed crimped on terminal ends to to bolt to engine and
firewall. A poor ground will cause the system affected to seek a way to
reach ground.
