My KIA Sephia 2001 Radiator Fan turns on after 3 to 4 miles of traveling. Is it a normal behavior or something going wrong?
Answer: Yes. Your fan comes on when your engine or I
should say your thermostat reaches that certain temp. It takes 3-4miles
to really warm up. What you need to worry about, if is the fan DOES NOT
come on! Just keep an eye on your little thermostat on your dash and
don’t go into the red. If there was a malfunction with your fan or
ECU(computer) you would have “check engine” light come on.
