I have an 2001 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS, and I am interested in buying new rims for it. As I understand it, you install the rims and the tires go around them?
Is this correct? is so, what size of rims will I be needing for this
particular model of car? Thanks for any help, I’m car illiterate.
Answer: That’s right. You can put whatever size rim you want on there, easiest would be 17 or 18 inch.
They need to be 5 x 4.5 stud pattern to bolt on. But if you just take
it to a tire/rim shop they can tell you what fits and show you a
selection to choose from.
