How do I tell if my Peugeot 206 is fitted with an automatic wiper? It’s a 2001 Peugeot 206 and the automatic wiper was an optional extra for the model. I’m just not sure if mine has it (second owner). Thanks!
Answer: I have the 406 with this feature. The easiest way to check is have a look behind the rear view mirror
( from outside) there should be a sensor ( looks like an led ) under
the glass. Then switch ignition on & select the first wipe position
on the stalk, pour water ( from watering can
etc) down the center of the screen, the wipers should start slow then
go full speed. If you have the electronic display, it should show
‘Automatic wipers activated in 1st position
