Recently I own a used 2002 Ford Explorer XLT, and I have some issues with the air conditioning. My air conditioning vents under the radio doesn’t blow as much air like others vents. For your information, this car also have ventilation
for the back side passengers but when I drive by myself I choose to
close all so I can get all the air in the front. I’m curious with this
problems, could anyone tell me how to fix it?
Answer: There are ventilation flaps that work with a vacuum to open and close the air flow. So if the vent flaps are restricted by a source (dirt, dust,a pen or pencil, etc) then you will get what you have described.
