"2006 Hyundai Sonata: The ABS Doesn’t Work After Replacing The Brake Pads"

Silver 2006 Hyundai Sonata Right Front View

I have an 2006 Hyundai Sonata and I replaced the brake pads from semi metallic to ceramic. But I haven’t machined the rotors yet. I bled the brakes also. Now the ABS doesn’t work. Is there a reason why it doesn’t work? Also, How long can I wait to machine the rotors before it ruins the brake pads? What can I do to make the ABS brakes work again?
Answer: There is a certain procedure for bleeding brakes that have ABS systems. If it is done wrong the ABS will not work. Suggest you consult a repair manual for your particular vehicle.
