The hood of my 1991 Ford Explorer
will not open. The interior pull lever comes out the entire way, and
the lever under the hood seems to move the full way to release, but the
hood is tightly closed.
Answer: Try to push
down on the hood then pull the interior pull lever. Try pulling up on
the hood left side then right side back and forth. That should get the
hood open then spray some Pb blaster or lithium grease on the latch and cable mechanism to prevent future aggravation.
