What is the best way to drain the fuel out of the gas tank, on a 1995 Chevrolet Monte Carlo?
Answer: Hook up to the
return line going back to the fuel tank. It can be accessed from the
engine compartment. Do not connect to the delivery line. On some Chevy
products the fuel pump will not work if you plug into the delivery line. There is a low pressure sensor in that line that will shut off the fuel pump because it perceives the open line as a fuel leak.
