My 1997 Volkswagen Jetta Windshield Wipers
quit working. And it’s been having this problem for the last 2 years.
My wipers will work for a little while, but when i try to change speeds
or turn them off it will blow a fuse. If i
replace the fuse, it will work again, but only for a short amount of
time and then i have the same problem. Have taken the car to several
dealerships and mechanics and
nobody can ever find anything wrong. They all say that everything looks
fine and just replace the fuse & a few weeks later I am in the same
boat again. anyone have any ideas what could be the problem & any
ideas on how to fix it?
Answer: There’s a motor attached to the begging of the wiper blade, under the hood, at driver side usually), change the motor. Hope it helps.
