Silver 2002 Mitsubishi Diamante Right Side View |
The serpentine belt on my 2002 Mitsubishi Diamante need to be replaced need to find out how that is done.
Answer: The serpentine belt is the belt in between the radiator and the engine (also attached to the engine obviously). The serpentine belt is the belt that spins the alternator and the a/c compressor. To remove the belt you have to loosen the tensioner that is located on and attached to the alternator. loosen the belt and remove. after removal place the new belt on the correct spools and engine components. Make sure it is aligned correctly and then tighten the tensioner. DO NOT OVER-TIGHTEN! DO NOT UNDER-TIGHTEN!
