How do I fill the radiator on my 1992 Buick Regal? Today I noticed under my car (on the passenger side, near the front tire) a puddle of what looks like rust colored water, having no mechanical/car knowledge I’m guessing it’s leaking radiator water? Anyways, I don’t know how to check the water and on the radiator cap (or what I’m guessing is the radiator cap). It says something like “this care requires a special coolant adding procedure”. I do not have an owner’s manual, can anyone help?
Answer: Just stick some water in it and go. Fill it
until it won’t take any more. If you do decide to use an
antifreeze/coolant, make sure you use a 50/50 mix, but it’s really not
going to do any good if you’re already running rusty water unless you
plan to flush the entire system.
