Silver 2002 Mitsubishi L200 Front View |
I was told that I needed a new ecu for my 2002 Mitsubishi L200 and so to save money got a secondhand one. But despite the mechanic apparently getting codes or something to enable the replaced ecu to work it didn’t. Now I have been told that I need a totally new ecu which will cost upwards of £700! If the secondhand ecu was never going to work how come so many breakers were able to offer them to me? Please help am fed up with expensive repairs, thanks.
Answer: If it has a FACTORY immobilizer, it needs the Immobilizer ECU from the SAME truck as the breakers
ECU as they are married. Then ALL your keys need to be programmed which
will require the dealer, as THEIR scan tool is the only one which will
program a key. (MUT-II)
