Whats a good ecu upgrade for a 2002 Volkswagen GTI 1.8t? All I have done after market is a aem cold air intake, I plan to get an exhaust soon.
Answer: They’re all good. The choice ends up coming
down to the secondary features, like if you want the ability to tune the
performance software to your
liking with an external device or a computer, if you want multiple
programs you can switch between, and how far you want to push the
performance envelope. I am very happy with the GIAC software on my 2002 1.8T, and know many others happy with this software, as well as Revo, APR, Unitronic, and others.
