Where is the ECU (electronic control unit) located on a Volvo XC90? Also, does it require any specialized tools to remove? Or any tricks? It’s a 2003 Volvo XC90 with a turbo straight six engine.
Answer: Usually under the kick panel on the Passenger side. Be sure to ground yourself as any static will destroy.
