Yelllow 2003 Dodge Neon Left View |
I own an 2003 Dodge Neon. Engine shut down and timing belt was broke, how much to repair that?
Answer: The 2.0L DOHC
belt should be changed at 100,000 miles, it is an interference fit
engine (it does serious internal damage if the belt brakes). Cost to
repair will include remove cylinder head to inspect damage It’s about 3 hours labor to replace the timing belt but to remove the cylinder head is about 6 hours remove and refit, plus damage and realign timing marks.
