How can I replace emergency brakes on a Volvo XC90? I need suggestion here, thanks.
Answer: You need a caliper reset tool for the rear calipers. Frankly if you’re asking this question
I don’t think you’re going to be able to do it right. Brakes are a
critical component in a car for safety, unless you know what you’re
doing or have a friend that does it’s something you shouldn’t be
touching.
Since you’re saying “replace the emergency brake” I can assume your e-brake isn’t working which has nothing to do with the brake pads in the rear. Basically you need a new or adjusted emergency brake cable. Again, not something most people could or SHOULD do.
