If my 1995 Nissan 240SX ecu is throwing a code of 105 for EGR, how can I resolve this problem?
Answer: Best bet is your egr is all crudded up and
isn’t flowing properly, your egr is your Exhaust Gas Recirculation unit,
it’s the metal pipe about as this as a roll of quarters that comes off
your exhaust manifold and goes around behind the motor and ports back into your intake manifold. It’s job is if the O2 sensor
senses rich exhaust gasses then it routes them back through the EGR to
re-burn them a second time. As a 240sx owner I’ve found it easier to
just unbolt the system and cap off both ends, it frees up power and the
parts are expensive as anything to repair. Do that and have the code
cleared and the light/code should be gone for good. hope this helps!
