Where is the ecu located on a 1996 Subaru Impreza?
and how do I get into it? I have a chip bought for the car and it has
to plug into the ecu board, need to find it so I can do so.
Answer: The ECU on the Subaru is usually located
under the foot panel of the passenger side. Pull the carpet back and
there should be a aluminum cover it should be held by 4 10mm nuts/bolts
and under that is your ECU.
