I have an 2003 Hyundai Tiburon
and my radiator cracked recently and this has never happened before.
But the thing is does my fans suppose to turn on when I turn on the ac
or heater on. Thanks and help will be much appreciated.
Answer: No, the radiator fans do not come on
whenever you turn the ac/heat on. They are set to come on when your
engine reaches a certain temperature, then they come on to cool the engine
back down. Next time you’re driving somewhere for a while, stop and let
the engine idle for little bit. When the temperature gauge gets a bit
about halfway, you should be able to see the fans
kick on. it they NEVER kick on, they are either unplugged or the
temperature sending unit (which tells the fans when to come on) is bad.
