I recently purchased a 2009 Garmin map update for the GPS in my car. I’m not entirely sure that it will be compatible with my 2007 Toyota Camry hybrid.
Answer: Not unless you have an aftermarket-installed Garmin GPS in your Toyota Camry
Hybrid. The Toyota navigation system uses a proprietary navigation DVD.
Updates occur about once a year, and you can only get them from a Toyota parts
source. In the US, a new DVD will be upwards of US$200. However, in
Europe/UK, you can see if the updates are worth it before you order a
new DVD, and pricing is vaguely better.
