How do you change the gearbox ecu on a Lexus ls400? Just had the gearbox rebuilt but still suffering the same problems.
Now the mechanic says it could be the ecu. Which makes me think it
could have been the ecu in the first place. Cant help feeling that Ive
been ripped off.
Answer: ECU’s generally cost $50-$150 (used-new) and are generally easy to replace (in most vehicles). But yeah, you got ripped off.
