2003 Cadillac CTS Front View |
On a 2003 Cadillac CTS, which one is the radiator access hose / top hose? I need to pour some head gasket sealer in the top hose and don’t know which one it is. Is it the medium hose on the left, the small hose in the middle, or the large hose on the right?
Answer: You know that crap will cause more problems
then it is worth & what it fixes. If it is that pellet or stuff
similar to that, IT WILL CLOG YOUR HEATER CORE
in a heartbeat. So when you have no more heat, that is the reason why.
That is why GM told us to stop using those pellets. They clog the heater
cores everytime.
Best thing to do is change the coolant every 40,000 miles. What engine is your CTS–3.2L or 3.6L?
3.2L has the oil cooler gaskets leak that also seals off the coolant also in the center of the engine & a heater control valve on the back of the engine that likes to leak. But if you must still add the stuff, make sure the car is cold & pull the large hose off at the top of the radiator & pour it in that one.
