I just bought a DVD/GPS player for VW Touran. I have installed it
using ISO connections, but when I put in a DVD a blue screen comes up
saying for you safety no picture. The instructions do not list this, how can I get around it? someone mentioned connecting it to handbrake but how is this possible?
Answer: Clearly it need a connection somehow to tell
it that the vehicle is stationary, and OK to show a picture, and I
guess the handbrake warning light could do this. Maybe a Volkswagen
garage would be able to help you out. It is possible that the wiring
loom in your car does not have all the correct connections if the DVD
was not installed from new.
