Where can I buy a radiator fan for my 1993 Lexus ES300? I have looked online and can’t find it. I find the whole unit with the fan and assembly, etc. Or if I can buy the whole piece for a good price, I would like to know where. I know not from Lexus. If you know where I can purchase this part online other than ebay, I will appreciate it very much. I replaced my thermostat today because my water gauge needle was going up, now I was told it may be the fans. Is this accurate?
Answer: It could be many things. You have relays and
sensors that tell the fans to come on. this all depends on outside
temps engine temp and stuff like that. If your fan is not running when
the car overheats then you need to check to see that it is getting power
to the fan that is where the relays and sensor come in. It can get
complicated but with time you could figure it out. Go buy a manual for
the car if you plan to do all your own work otherwise take it to a shop.
