How do you know if Honda ecu is working. I did a motor swap on 1989 Honda Civic and the ecu under the passenger carpet says nothing. Is it supposed to blink at all or is saying there is no problem. What does this thing do any way?
Answer: The ecu controls everything. Your ignition air and fuel and a lot more. If its not working the car wont run. Also if you did an engine swap with a different type of engine you need the ecu for that engine.
