I have an Audi A3 and when key is turn there is a scraping noise and now the car temp is 120. Unscrewed coolant cap and the liquid bubbled and rose to the top. Any ideas before I take it to a garage please?
Answer: The flashing instrument cluster could just be a sign of a failing battery and the temp of 120 is not good, if there is coolant present it could indicate that the thermostat has failed which is a cheap fix or the head gasket is blown which is an expensive fix.
