The inside lights on my 2005 Buick LaCrosse, 3.6L V6 just started staying on when we are driving. We turned them off to not even come on when the door opens, but they will not go off when the motor is running.
Two years ago all the inside lights quit working. There was a short
that even the dealership had trouble finding. Kept blowing a fuse. Does
anyone had the same problems with me?
Answer: It could be a bad dome light switch
where the door closes (when the door opens, it turns the light on and
when you close it, it shuts it off. Mine went out once so it’d stay on
because it thought the door was open. So I asked the dealership about
it, and even though I bought it used with no warranty, the dealership
replaced it for free.
