My ’97 Mazda MX6 E-brake light
comes on when I brake? Not all the time, just some times. It’s very
sllippery driving conditions lately (being alberta and all!) and I’m
wonder if it’s the antilock breaks. Can anyone confirm this before I
drop $800.00 at the mechanic?
Answer: yup, check the level in the reservoir, if its low fill with DOT 3 brake fluid up to the full mark. Also, check the wear on your brakes the lower your pads are the more fluid goes and stays in the caliper, then the reservoir gets low and the light goes on occasionally.
