| 2000 Dodge Stratus Engine View |
My 2000 Dodge Stratus shut off while I was driving recently and I
crank it back up and it kept surging while I drove. I finally made it home and it shut off as soon as I stopped. Now it won’t even crank up. We got the diagnostic machine hooked up but it won’t pull up any codes. Could it be the ECU?
Answer: Try starting with the basics, an engine wont run without air, fuel and spark. I’m not saying its all three but don’t guess, spend the shops hour to diagnose the problem then decide if you think can fix it yourself. You can always ignore this advise and throw parts at it autozone loves people with open wallets.
