When I am outside of my Honda Pilot it smells like antifreeze really bad. It is NOT overheating or anything. If I go through the automatic car wash it does look like it is steaming on the hood, but that could be just because it’s so cold outside.
It doesn’t steam or has nothing else wrong except the antifreeze smell,
it has been like this for about 2 months now. Anyone have any idea what
could be wrong. We were thinking water pump or radiator, but it doesn’t overheat so we weren’t sure. Someone also said it could be the coolant passage gasket.
Answer: You should take it to a mechanic and let them pressure test it to see is it has a small leak somewhere.
