How can I release the spare tire from under a Ford Transit 1994 van?
Answer: I am not totally familiar with this vehicle. Check for a hole around the rear license plate. This hole leads to a mechanism that lowers the tire down. There should be a long rod-like tool that you insert into
the hole, then turn counter-clockwise. You should then see the spare
slowly lowering. Once you are ready to put it back, just turn clockwise.
