I have an 07 Volvo S40, the rear brakes have started to grind, does anyone know what the issue may be?It’s grinding when I come to a stop, but it doesn’t occur when I come to an abrupt stop.
Answer: 99 out of 100 times grinding noise from brakes
mean that they are worn out. That is not a warranty issue – that is a
maintenance issue. And shame on you for letting it go far enough to
start grinding. If you’re lucky you want have to replace the rotors in
addition to the pads (which will triple the expense).
