"How To Change Rear Brake Pads on Mazda 3?"

Blue Mazda 3

I can not get the Mazda 3 calipers to go in the way they should. Is there another step that I do not know of to help this out?

Answer: You have to release the emergency brake pre load. There should be an access plug on the back of the caliper for this (you will need an Allen wrench most likely).
This allows the piston to be withdrawn into the cylinder. You will also need to tighten it down to a point of a little drag to get the hand brake to work right. Or maybe you can look on this link, hope this will help you.
