"Replacing Problems on 2005 Volvo XC90 Sprayer Arm"

I have a little problems with my 2005 Volvo XC90, 2.5L 5 Cylinder Turbo. I have to replace the painted cover, plug in the sprayer arm to inject the headlamp. How can I get the arm to extend out of the bumper long enough to connect a new cover?

Answer: Try it out by hand. I think it is spring, it will therefore be removed. It’s been a few years since I tried this, so go slow and if it feels like it’s not coming out, stop and try something different.
